The long-beloved program, Open Court Reading, has always featured a charismatic cast of critters. I was asked to give some existing characters a facelift, as well as add a few new creatures to the crew.
Targeted primarily at grades K-3, these characters help introduce subjects like American History with a bison-college-professor or colors & patterns with a fashion-forward zebra.
Some characters are also related to Sound Cards, which feature the likes of Dina the Dancing Dinosaur and Gary the Grape-Eating Gopher.
